Recommended, my 3 top books for entrepreneurs

Something a little different today!

I’d like to recommend three game-changing books by three brilliant authors, which I think you’d benefit a lot from reading.

I’ve mentioned them before, but I thought it worth flagging them up again in case you missed it.

They’re ideal for you as you start out as a course creator.

But they could also be transformative for anyone currently running a business.

The three books are…

  • StoryBrand by Donald Miller.
Getting your messaging clear and learning how to speak to your customer is key. Miller keeps it simple, offering you a clear strategic guide to help you do this effectively. And it’s a pleasure to read.
  • Atomic Habits by James Clear.
There are so many tasks you need to carry out when you are an entrepreneur. Your focus is pulled in all directions. Sometimes you can get through an entire day without doing anything of importance. But this book will help you avoid that. James Clear will show you habit-forming techniques that keep you focused on your most important goals so that you stay on track.
  • Mindset by Carol Dweck.
For me, this book was a game changer. Dweck argues that the way you think determines the course of your life and your ultimate success. But natural talent is not the biggest factor (Phew! Thank goodness for that!). Do let me know what you think.

Just those three books cover key topics to get you up and running, so do try and get hold of these if you can, as I think they’ll really open your eyes!

They are available on Amazon, most good bookshops or, of course, your local library (aren’t we lucky to have libraries!).

And if you can find a cosy corner of your home, they’d make the perfect winter reads.

I’d love to hear of any books you are particularly excited about and feel might be of interest to my lovely readers let me know at [email protected].

In fact, I’ve just finished a really great book that I know you’ll love, so I’ll share my video review on Instagram soon. If you don’t follow me already, I’d love to see you there – you’ll find me by clicking here and just press that follow button
