When you hear the name ‘Cleopatra’, you probably think of the famous Egyptian Queen.
The beautiful one who had affairs with Julius Caesar and Mark Antony then committed suicide with a poisonous snake bite.
But there was another, far less famous Cleopatra.
She was Greek and lived in the 3rd Century A.D.
This Cleopatra was an author, philosopher and an early kind of scientist.
And she was astonishingly smart.
In fact, she was known as ‘Cleopatra the Alchemist’.
Alchemy was an ancient practice in which people sought to turn common metals like iron, lead, tin and copper into gold and silver.
It could be done, it was said, via a strange, mystical substance known as ‘the Philosophers Stone’.
Cleopatra is said to have been one of four female alchemists who could produce that Philosopher’s stone, although perhaps we can assume that was likely to have been a legend, not fact 😉.
In this country, Alchemy became popular during the Tudor era, financially supported by Queen Elizabeth I.
Nobody had yet found the Philosopher’s Stone, so they carried out all kinds of experiments… heating, blending and combining elements, then observing the results.
All in the hope that they could take something cheap and every day, then turn it into something special that would make them rich and powerful.
In the process, they made amazing scientific discoveries, revealing how different chemicals reacted with each other, creating exciting new compounds.
But nobody quite managed to turn ordinary metal into gold.
However, there’s something that I believe is as close to modern-day alchemy as you can get.
How to turn basic materials
into a profitable home income
With most business ideas, there is a lot of expense involved.
Usually, you need to create products and store them… or source products and stock them…
You might need a vehicle for transportation or delivery… premises… or a slick online shop.
You might need staff, or suppliers, or freelancers.
Then there’s design, packaging, branding and building systems for communication and customer services.
All of this needs upfront investment and ongoing costs.
To get a business like that together, you need time, skills, and a big loan – either from a bank or from your family.
The hope of most entrepreneurs is that their big investment will mean a big return from a successful business.
But course creation doesn’t work like that.
When you create a course, you take knowledge you already have… and then you turn it into an income with the most basic of tools:
- A home computer and internet connection
- An online course platform for publishing
- A basic camera (you can even use your smartphone)
- A microphone (costing as little as £20)
Yet from these basic, low-cost tools, you can create an online product that produces a return of potentially thousands of pounds every month.
That’s like an alchemist turning a piece of tin into pure gold!
I can think of few other ethical businesses that you can start on a relative shoestring like that and yet have the potential to make a 7-figure return.
You don’t need premises. You don’t need staff. You don’t need to pay for expensive web developers and designers. You don’t need loans. And you don’t need a big upfront investment.
What’s more, you can do it all in your spare time while you have a job, or run another business.
All it takes is enthusiasm and persistence to turn very low-cost and free materials into a huge potential income.
And it’s not only the low cost of the ingredients that makes it like alchemy.
It’s the sheer speed at which you can convert the raw materials of your brain and your computer into something highly valuable.
Very few businesses produce a return THIS quickly
For example, in my Course Creation Academy I can show you how to get your first course built within a few months.
Not only that, I have a method that allows you to start converting your knowledge into an income BEFORE you even create the course, which means you start seeing sales even sooner.
I can also show you a way to sell your first course from scratch in a brand-new niche with NO list of customers.
That means launching a product with no email database, no following on social media, and no pre-existing web presence.
When I first tried this method in a niche I’d never tried before, it cost me £90 to start advertising, and yet I made £30k sales in just 3 weeks.
Like I say, course creation is as close to alchemy as you can get!
So I hope that inspires you.
And If you’re interested in finding out more, then I’d urge you to consider trying out my Course Creation Academy – just email me at [email protected].
I cannot promise you the secret of turning discarded Coke cans into gold…
But to be honest, course creation is far more rewarding and fulfilling than that!
