This Free Tool Helps You Find Out What Your Ideal Customer Really Wants

Now, before I begin…

I want to make it clear. I’m NOT advocating that you consider carrying out this highly illegal act…

But imagine that you could hack the computers of all the people who might be interested in your course idea.

Let’s say, for example, you created a spyware virus that got into their systems without them realising…

And that your hidden virus secretly tracked what they were looking for on Google.

You’d probably discover a lot, right?

And I’m not talking about any silly, embarrassing, rude stuff they look for.

I mean the searches related to their interests in life, whether that’s health, work or hobbies.

You would know what questions they asked Google… what specific things they needed help with… what they were looking for online.

That would be pretty useful information.

Not only could it give you ideas for course subjects – but it could help you work out what content to put into courses, too.

More importantly, it would help you SELL that course, because your sales promotion could touch upon the specific fears and desires that they have.

Now, like I said at the top of this email, I’m not advising that you get in touch with a hacker and carry out a mass cybercrime.

(To be honest, how do you even CONTACT a hacker?!)

But the fact remains…

One of the very best things you can do when creating your course is to get into the mind of your customer.

What do they really want?

What questions do they ask?

What problems do they face?

Find out this information, and you have the key to success.

In my Course Creation Academy training, I go deep into some techniques you can use to work out the likely mindset of your ideal customer.

(if you want to know how to get started on your course creation journey then make sure you join my free masterclass here)

But further to that, I’ve recently stumbled upon a free tool that I like and that might just help you find out more about your customers (and potential customers).

Introducing ‘Answer the Public’…

There are 3 billion Google searches every day on a mind-boggling variety of topics. Often, people type in keywords to get answers, for instance…

  • Vegan cupcake recipe
  • Benefits of CBD oil
  • Rash after virus
  • Best course creation software

You’ll have done it countless times yourself, I’ve no doubt!

Anyway, AnswerThePublic tunes into autocomplete data from Google and gives you all the useful phrases and questions that people are asking around a certain keyword.

So it gives you the cumulative results of those private Google searches without compromising anyone’s personal privacy.

This makes it a goldmine of free consumer insight that you can use to create fresh, relevant content that your target customers really want.

For instance, let’s say you were thinking of doing a course on how to sleep better…

You might put “sleep better” into AnswerThePublic and it would reveal all the popular phrases around it – like “how to sleep better and wake up refreshed”, or “how to sleep better with anxiety”, “how to sleep better during the menopause”, or “how to sleep better with enlarged prostate”.

You could then add some or all of those elements into your content and address them in your sales promotion.

Or it could even help you narrow down your niche – for instance, you could decide to focus your course on sleeping better with anxiety.

I’ve only just started using it recently, but it’s such a great source of inspiration already.

There’s only one snag…

You can only do two searches for free per day, so you really need to make them count!

Or another idea is to do two searches every day for a couple of weeks to help build up the information that way.

However, if you find this service really useful you can sign up to the pro version and have unlimited searches along with loads of other benefits.

it is a bit pricey though at $99 per month so personally I’d stick with the free method (please note I’m not affiliated to them in any way and make NO income if you do choose to use them).
